These are questions to take to public offices and to professionals you hire. This page is not those offices, and it does not quote fees or processing times that change.
Records to confirm yourself
- Zoning and any special land-use conditions for the parcel.
- Whether the property is on a well, a utility, or both, and who maintains them.
- Septic or sewer status.
- Flood information from the official flood map, not from a listing blurb.
- Recorded easements that cross a paddock, a driveway, or a trail.
People who are not this website
A surveyor, a well contractor, a barn builder, an insurance agent, and a real estate attorney each see a different risk. Hire them when the decision depends on their work. A licensed real estate brokerage is the party that can advertise and negotiate a specific property under Florida rules. The brokerage introduction on this site is William Worthy at Homerun Realty, LLC, with Lori Meaney at PrimeLending for the loan conversation.
Return to the property overview or the community questions when you are still comparing ways to keep horses. Barn organization, once the guides are published, will link to barn supplies only where a product actually helps the task.
Ocala Horse Supply publishes educational material and sells horse supplies. It is not a licensed Florida real estate brokerage. Property listings and inquiry forms stay off until a licensed brokerage relationship is in place and the Florida advertising disclosures for that activity are configured. Nothing on this site is a solicitation to buy or sell real estate.
