As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
Ocala Horse Supply is owned by William Worthy, and I write the guides on this site. Some guides link to products sold on Amazon. Those links carry my Amazon Associates tracking tag. If you click one and buy something on Amazon, Amazon may pay me a commission. The price you pay does not change.
How to spot a paid link
- Every Amazon link on this site is followed by the words (paid link).
- Product groups that link to Amazon are labeled Recommended on Amazon and repeat the line “As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.”
- Every post that contains Amazon links says so near the top, before the first link.
- A few links open Amazon search results instead of a single product. Those are marked “(paid link, opens Amazon search results, not a single product)”.
What Amazon picks are, and what they are not
- They are not Ocala Horse Supply stock. The shop on this site lists an item only when this site can sell and ship it itself. Amazon picks are sold and shipped by Amazon or its sellers, under Amazon’s prices, return rules and customer service.
- They are not hands-on reviews unless a post says so. Product spotlights describe what a listing says the product is made to do. If I have not tested a product hands-on, the post says so.
- No prices or star ratings. Prices and availability on Amazon change, so I don’t show them. Check the current listing on Amazon before you buy.
- Amazon does not endorse this site. Amazon has not reviewed or approved these guides.
- Follow the label. Fly sprays and other pest-control products are EPA-registered pesticides. Use them only as the product label directs. Nothing on this site is veterinary advice. Ask your veterinarian or farrier about your horse.
How I choose picks
I choose picks for what they do in a Florida barn: heat, humidity, wet ground, flies and long show seasons. A commission is never a reason to include a product, and no brand pays to be featured. If that ever changes for a specific post, the post will say so at the top.
